Valentine's Day Door Signs
Event Information
About this Event
Choose from our four design options to customize your own door sign! Signs are made on a 12" wooden round, with acrylic paint. Choose to attend the live class to make the project in real time with our instructor on Zoom, or purchase a DIY kit with instructions to make it on your own! Sign choices are: "All You Need Is Love," "Love Lives Here," "Be Mine," and "Love" with the optional background and heart colors of white, red or pink, and word color options of red, white, black and pink.
The kit for live class and DIY kit-only include: 12" wooden round, jute twine, ribbon, floral wire, acrylic paint in red, black and white, wooden heart cut out, foam and detail paint brushes, glue, toothpicks, and custom word stencil. You will need a plastic "burnishing" tool (i.e., an old gift card or credit card) to smooth out the vinyl stencil, scissors, a protected work surface, water for rinsing paint brushes, and paper towel for blotting and cleaning up messes.
Materials packet pick-up for both ticket options will take place on January 29 from 5-6 pm at Picture the Good: Studio + Workshop, 1686 Village Green, Crofton. We are practicing social distancing and will be meeting just outside of our entry. If you live within the 21114 zip code and cannot pick up, send us a note and we are happy to deliver your packet. If you are unable to pick up during the designated time, please let us know and we can work out an alternate time.
An email with the Zoom link for the virtual class will be sent on January 30 to the email address provided during check-out . Please contact Picture the Good with any questions at picturethegoodstudio@gmail.com.
All workshops require a minimum of 5 participants to proceed as scheduled. If there are not 5 participants registered, Picture the Good: Studio + Workshop reserves the right to reschedule for a later date or cancel. In the event of a cancellation, participants will be refunded in full. Thank you for your understanding!
As this class is taking place on Zoom, please be aware that Picture the Good: Studio + Workshop reserves the right to record the class to provide to students who may have missed the live class and for training purposes. Our recordings are unable to be downloaded or saved by other users and are never made public.
*As with all PTG workshops, 10% of profits will be donated to charity. This month's charity is the Annapolis Light House Shelter.
