Get to know Chef Derek Gherkins, the Chef behind many of Park City’s Best Restaurants including Grappa, Ghidotti’s and Windy Ridge. With a degree in Food Science, Chef Derek takes his cooking to a higher level. New to our faculty, Chef Derek brings a fun twist to everything he cooks. Get to know his flavors during this special Tasting Dinner.
Begin the evening with an Oyster Trio, and experience Chef Derek’s Citrus, Green Apple, and Grape Mignonettes. The five-course dinner continues with Roasted Beets and Honey Chèvre on Endive with Toasted Pistachios. The main course is a tender Filet Mignon with Roasted Winter Vegetables sauced in a Cabernet Demi-Glace and garnished with salsa verde. For dessert, Chef Derek is serving a Floating Heart topped with shaved chocolate.
Doors open at 6pm, dinner starts at 6:30pm.
Seats are limited at the price of $95 per person, and must be reserved in advance. A Craft Cocktail, as well as Wines, carefully selected by Chef Derek Gherkins to pair with the dinner will be available for purchase to guests 21 and over.
