Work with Seattle-based Fiber Artist Mandy Greer, as she teaches you her unique style of making highly textural Pom Poms and tassels from reclaimed fibers and luscious wools, cottons and boutique yarns.

Our project will be making this luscious, one-of-a-kind eco-friendly Valentine's Wreath. But with your skills and kit, you can continue making other projects and gifts as well!

You'll learn all the skills you need FEB 7th from 1pm - 3:30pm on ZOOM, but can continue working on your wreath for as long as you need!

During class, I will share my secret for getting really luscious Poms and my PDF map for how to make your Hearth Wreath have an elegant shape.

You can purchase a kit with your choice of tassel color: Black, Red or Pink.

You can purchase a kit with or without Pom Pom makers, in case you already have them.

A class video can be available afterwards. You can still register even if you cannot attend.

You will need to have a sharp pair of scissors and a few pieces of small cardboard, and a hot glue gun is highly recommended.

You CAN gather your own materials, and just pay for the class fee, if you are a crafter and have lots of supplies.

You would need:

-Pompom makers

-Hearth Wreath form

-a variety of fluffy pink yarns, strings, fabrics

-beads, hanging wire

Your kit will be filled with a beautiful selection of vintage fibers, wools, cottons, reclaimed fibers, and beads from my studio collection — hand selected and cut to make the most impact in your project. Pom-Pom Makers are an additional cost, in case you don’t need them.

Included in your kit, with some slight variations, will be baby pinks, bubble gum pinks and hot pinks.

FAQs

-Class can be shared in a household for one class registration. But with each kit ordered, there needs to be a matching registration, even if in the same household.

-Please download Zoom well ahead of class time to familiarize yourself before class time.

-A Zoom classroom link will be sent to you two days before the workshop

-For Zoom safety, there will be a waiting room, and only those names that match registrations will be allowed in the classroom. Please make sure your Zoom handle matches the name you registered with.

-For Zoom safety, classroom will be sealed 10 minutes after the start of class time, and late comers cannot be let in. Please make sure you are set up and ready 10 minutes before the start of class.

-To see the detail in demos, viewing the class on a computer is advised.

-No refunds on kit or class. If you register and need to miss, a class video can be made available for you to watch on our own.

-You don't need a kit to do the class, if you want to gather your own materials.
