Project Hero is a groundbreaking national non-profit organization dedicated to helping Veterans and First Responders affected by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury TBI and injury achieve rehabilitation, recovery and resilience in their daily lives and increasing awareness to combat the national mental health emergency posed by PTSD and TBI. Project Hero uses cycling events to promote a better understanding of the challenges that many of our Veterans face every day. Please let us know if you need assistance with a bicycle for this event.

And our partnership with Louisville Mayors Week of Valor gives both our Veterans and our community opportunities to celebrate those who have served and sacrificed so much for our country. The 7 mile Cycling Event is one of several activities planned and endorsed by our Louisville Mayor leading up to Veterans Day.
