Description

Update: Parking

The practice of routinely relaxing parking permit enforcement ended July 1, 2017 by order of President Goldsmith. Students and employees enable use and maintenance of college lots with payment of permit fees; therefore, they are given priority in parking. ALL OTHER USERS must purchase a $1 daily permit, use metered parking, or park on the street. Permit enforcement will be relaxed ONLY for large-scale events such as Scholarship Awards Ceremony, Veterans' Memorial Service, and Asian Fest. Parking in lot K is restricted to District staff. Vehicles parked in lot K not displaying a District staff parking permit will be ticketed.

Sometimes, life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, like there’s no way things can get better. When things feel unbearable, or if you’re having thoughts of ending your life, support is available. VA offers a number of programs and resources for Veterans and their loved ones, friends, and health care providers. Do you know what to do when a Veteran’s in crisis? Training is available.

This training is open to the public and is especially focused on individuals who work with Veterans on a daily basis.
