Savor the flavors of Uzbek cuisine and learn how to make honim with a seasoned home cook.

Honim is a dish of steamed layers of thin dough, hand-rolled with spiced meat and onions, or potatoes and seasonal greens. With lunch to follow, our halal meal will also feature a freshly made tomato sauce, herbs, and a side salad. All ages and skill levels are welcome!

What is Heritage Kitchen?

Heritage Kitchen is a gathering of home cooks from around the Muslim world sharing our family recipes, culinary traditions, and stories in New York City. We are inclusive and ready to teach- and we cook halal!

Our sunny Brooklyn kitchen is easily accessible by the N, D trains as well as by car via the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. Exact address will be provided once your reservation is confirmed.
