Exceptional, intrinsically motivated New Zealand-born designer currently based in Los Angeles as Head of Design at Labs, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media. Over 15 years in print, web, app, game, product, experience, brand, story, team, and culture design. Creative, empathetic, entrepreneurial, practicing disciplined innovation with child-like curiosity.
Charity Tran is a user advocate, digital strategist and Los Angeles-based professional writer. She has an extensive background in social media, user research, and strategic analysis in both private and public sector. A graduate of the University of Southern California, Ms. Tran holds a B.A. in English Literature, including a minor in Web Technologies & Applications, and a Master’s degree in Professional Writing. She also firmly believes in bridging the gap between research and practice and is currently a doctoral student in the distance education component of Texas Tech University's Technical Communication and Rhetoric program. Her research interests include user experience, fandom, social media, and new media.
Kat Reilly is a multi-disciplined designer and strategist interested in storytelling, games, and the user experience. Creative thinker with background in narrative media, interaction design, and product management.
Ms. Reilly specialties include experience mapping, UX, interaction design, information architecture, narrative strategy, content development, game design, prototyping, usability & play testing, cross-functional teamwork.
Previously a founder and Creative Director of a branding and software design agency in Southern Oregon, Ryan now work as a Lead Interaction Designer for Disney Labs where he crafts new digital experiences for Disney's guests. Ryan seeks ways to make things functional and to make the mundane efficient so that time can be spent in joy and wonder of the beautiful. He aspires to be among the innovators who break through barriers by embracing the audacious.
Kurtis Schureman is an Interactive designer at Disney Interactive Labs. He is also owner of Caveman Crayon Design Studio which commissions projects related to illustration, typography, identity & print. Mr. Shureman’s specialties include print, web, illustration, product and motion.
Parking is available in Lot A for $12 for Guests. There is also metered parking around the perimeter of USC campus as well as extremely limited metered parking on campus.
