Miklos Philips - Lead UX Designer and Product Design Strategist - Toptal

Miklos is a Lead UX Designer and Product Design Strategist with over 18 years of experience. Currently in London, he spent 18 years in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles working across a variety of industries. While remaining a hands-on UX practitioner, over the last five years he’s also led small design teams.

As a champion of user-centered design practices and strategic thinking, he mediates between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility, resulting in product designs that please people, make their lives easier, and impact the bottom line.

Chris Gibbins - User Experience Director & Founder - The Wicked Company

Chris is a UX, Human Centred Design & Experimentation expert with 15+ years of agency experience leading high performing cross-functional teams. He is highly skilled in designing quality digital products/services that deliver real value to the end user & significant returns to the business. Passionate about the continual improvement, optimisation and innovation of these experiences thereafter.

The Wicked Company is a Transformation, Service & Experience Design consultancy, dedicated to the art of collaboratively solving wicked problems. A lot has changed since the industrial revolution. The new market we live in is not just more complex but has a new set of characteristics that tame companies cannot solve. A new mindset around capabilities, governance, teams and the support for outcomes is needed. The Wicked Company helps organisations to solve increasingly wicked problems.

Silas Rooney - Head of Creative Design and Development - Lloyds Banking Group

During previously work at Barclays for 8 years, Silas set an internal digital design studio made up of multi-skilled designers and digital creatives. He was responsible for Design for Retail Banking / Wealth Banking / Premier Branding / Business / Branding.

Currently at Lloyds Banking Group with the Human Centred Design Department: he is tasked with creating engaging consumer experiences and visualising future states of the bank. Providing a framework of how could we do banking that makes a difference and not be detrimental to customers lives? Asking the questions of how could we get to a level of simplicity that doesn’t feel like a bank?
