User experience isn’t solely the purview of UX specialists; a well-rounded developer, the "T-shaped" professional, is an increasingly sought-after team member. Taught by skilled UX practitioners and experienced developers, Pointworks Academy’s 5-Day UX Boot Camp for Developers is tailored to the needs of developers working with UX teams and those interested in transitioning into a UX role. You’ll gain an understanding of the user-centered design process and the deliverables that you can expect to receive along the way. Through hands-on participation in a project based on real client work, you’ll practice core user-centered design techniques in a class filled with your peers, learning from one another’s perspectives and challenges.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
Apply a user-centered design process to any project
Get the user input you need through UX discovery and usability testing
Leave with UX research guides and output templates to reuse on your own projects
What past participants have said about our UX Boot Camp
“The combination of lecture and hands-on activities was excellent. It really gave us a feel for what we should do and how we should handle the UX process.”
“I took away a lot of good information from these sessions, particularly the templates, such as the blueprint for getting started. That’s always the hardest part!”
"Fantastic course. I can't wait to start moving more into the UX world on my team and beyond. Thanks for inspiring me."
