Tech & Engineering Fair
Co-Hosted by the University of Washington Bothell & Cascadia College

Thursday, October 17 | 10:30am-2:00pm

 


 

The T & E Fair is targeted to employers in the tech and engineering industries, as well as those in other industries specifically looking for students with technical skills or STEM majors. Employers are invited to recruit for full-time positions, part-time positions, and internships. Students and alumni from both UW Bothell and Cascadia College attend this fair.

 

UW Bothell is one of the most diverse institutions in the country where 53% of the students in the School of STEM are from diverse backgrounds.  The University’s curriculum emphasizes collaboration and experiential learning.  We invite you to learn more about the School of STEM on their Website.  A full list of all UW Bothell and academic programs can be found on the UW Bothell Website.


Cascadia College offers many technical degrees, certificates, as well as, a Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability. Cascadia has a 71% transfer rate to 4-year programs. More information about Cascadia College can be found here.

Registration Fees
Registration by September 9, 2019
For-Profit - $400
Non-Profit - $175

Late Registration Until September 20, 2019
For-Profit - $450
Non-Profit - $200

Event Sponsorship $800

Includes: Company logo on all event marketing, one full-page ad in the program, recognition at the event, in addition to standard fair amenities one full 6'x30" display table, 2 attendee lunches, and parking pass. 


 

Cancellation/Refund Policy:
We hope that an organization will not cancel, but in the event that an organization chooses to withdraw completely from the event, the following refund schedule will apply. Once you have completed the registration form, our cancellation policy is in effect. The following cancellation policy applies:
-If cancellation occurs two weeks prior to the event, you will receive a refund less the processing fee.
-If cancellation occurs less than two weeks prior, you forfeit your full registration fee.

All changes and cancellation requests must be in writing. No refunds will be issued less than two weeks prior to the event and you remain responsible for paying any outstanding balance. We cannot “roll over” the registration to another event. Outstanding bills from this and previous events must be paid and may prevent participation in future Career Services events.

No Show:
Organizations that do not check in by the event start time on the day of the event will be considered a “no show." Your spot may be reassigned and the organization will be billed for the event. We cannot “roll over” the registration to another event or refund the fee.
 
Restrictions:
University of Washington Bothell reserves the right to be selective when determining which organizations will be represented at special events such as career fairs, networking events or group information sessions. Decisions related to participation and time preference will be made in a fair and equitable manner after considering factors such as space availability, student interest, and positions available.
