About this event

This event is completely FREE and fully VIRTUAL!

Hello again! Introducing the third installment of a series of panels on the "The Biggest Questions in the Universe" presented by the University of Washington's Astrobiology Program!

On July 28th at 6PM Pacific Time, please join us as four astrobiologists from UW try to answer "How Will We Find and Recognize Life Out There?" in a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Michael L. Wong, followed by a Question & Answer session with the audience. The four panelists (Samantha Gilbert, Zac Cooper, Kimberly Sinclair, and UW Alumna Dr. Kim Bott) will draw upon their unique research experiences to tackle these fascinating and complex questions. It's not just enough to believe life is out there - we have to detect it too! Come learn about the mind-blowing approaches we are using to get closer and closer to an unambiguous life detection.

A link to the livestream will be sent to registrants as the date of the panel approaches. Be sure to register to gain access to further details!
