Critics call it: “The Burning Man of the Under-7 jet set crowd” (Rolling Stone), “Life Changing Experience” (Esquire), “Marvelous - Never try at home” (Vanity Fair). Recruiters for the Top 110 Blue Chip companies swear that a resume with Uvapalooza participation is 100% more effective than degrees from Harvard, Yale or Cal.
Uvapalooza is an overnight camping party for children in the potty-trained to elementary school age bracket (and their Dads). Created by Uwe, an alum Windmill father, this party has become a Windmill favorite. This year, it is hosted by a stellar group of current Windmill fathers, and the location will be the gorgeous Mt. Madonna County Park (campsite already reserved).
Activities include a massive treasure hunt, a Tough-Mudder obstacle course, utensil- free dinner, campfire with Marshmallows, pancake breakfast, the largest water balloon fight west of the Mississippi and a pie-eating contest. No camping experience required; just bring a tent, sleeping bag and several changes of clothing.
Don’t miss out on this one of a kind opportunity for father/child bonding, throwing caution to the wind, and organized chaos. And remember: “What Happens at Uvapalooza Stays at Uvapalooza."
Hosted by: Ilja Bedner, Damon Schor, and Robert Bergstrom
