Description

The UVA Global Infectious Diseases Symposium will present outstanding research and scholarship at UVA and throughout the world in order to highlight transdisciplinary approaches to the most pressing global infectious diseases challenges. The Keynote Speaker will be Prof. Yap Boum II, Regional Representative for Africa for Doctors Without Borders' research arm, Epicentre. The lunch, coffee breaks, and reception will provide ample opportunities for networking.

The symposium will run from 12-7 pm in Newcomb Hall Ballroom, 3rd floor.

Parking passes for Newcomb Hall parking garage are available and can be obtained at check-in outside the Ballroom. Reception attendees must be at least 21 years of age, id required for alcohol beverages.
