Manufacturing Growth Educational Series*

Utilizing Blockchain Technology to Modernize Manufacturing

Blockchain is a type of digital platform, which is being explored by many manufacturing industries to streamline information sharing and distribute data in a secure, transparent manner across the entire supply chain. While the financial and pharmaceutical industries are leading the way, many other industries are currently vetting pilots and proof of concept projects to understand how Blockchain can benefit their increasingly complex business.

Join us for a lunch-n-learn event to:

  • Learn about the basics of Blockchain programs.

  • Explore several different types of applications for the manufacturing sector.

  • Discover how Blockchain technology can provide rapid transparency into the traceability of everything from parts and raw materials to customer shipments.

  • Gain an understanding of the benefits and challenges to implementing this new technology.

Attendees will also hear about a case study detailing one company's pilot project utilizing a Blockchain program and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Event includes lunch, networking, presentation, case study, and Q&A.
