Share Utah Governor's Public Safety Summit

Event Details

     We are excited to invite you to join more than six hundred public safety professionals from around the State of Utah for the Tenth Annual Utah Governor's Public Safety Summit, May 16-17, 2017, at the Davis Conference Center, located at 1651 North 700 West, Layton, Utah. The conference will feature two days of outstanding presentations and workshops on this year's theme, " Celebrating a Decade of Working Together For a Safer Utah" showcasing ten years of collaboration and partnership at the Governor's Public Safety Summit. This year we are again joining forces with the Intelligence Liaision Officer Conference to increase our coordination and share costs. We will also have vendors there to show you the latest in industry tools to help you in your important work and a static display to tour new equipment and technology. 

    Our keynot speakers will present on how collaboration and partnership helped them in their duties and responses. We hve Daniel Brady with the FBI to discuss how the latest technologies and partnerships helped capture the terrorists of the Boston Bombing Terror Attacks. We also have San Bernardino's Fire Chief, Glenn Barley to discuss how a unified command helped tackle one of their most complex fires. LAPD Andy Neiman and Los Angeles area reporter/anchor Steve Gregory will again join us to discuss Crisis Management using case stuies from police, fire, hospitals and analysis of the Officer Involved Shooting in Ferguson, MO which encompassed law enforcement and politics. We have also invited former dallas Cowboy Quarterback Danny White who will present on leadership, team building, and motivation. We have many more great speaker lined up to share their expertise and successes and hope you will join us for another great Summit.
