Event description

Description

We believe in a society that honors and protects older adults. Join our community as we unite to elevate Utah's seniors and learn ways to prevent and address elder abuse. The conference will provide education on issues relating to health, legal perspectives, prevention, and advocacy while providing new ideas on awareness and action steps.

Keynote speaker is Kathy Greenlee, former U.S. Assistant Secretary for Aging, Administration for Aging Administrator and Administration for Community Living for Department of Health and Human Services at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She is a visionary thought leader, policy expert and advocate engaged at addressing prevention of elder abuse at the state, national and international level.

Students, caregivers, advocates, direct service providers, law enforcement, legal/financial professionals, health and social work professionals, and interested community members are all invited and encouraged to attend.

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

For more information, visit www.utahelderjustice.org.

If an interested participant is unable to pay the registration fee, please contact elderjustice@mountainland.org.
