Description

The United States Patent and Trademark Office will be presenting a free, one-day program for Inventors, Makers, and Entrepreneurs in Farmingdale, NY at Farmingdale University on June 1, 2019.

You will have the chance to learn from successful inventors and entrepreneurs, and intellectual property (IP) experts who will provide practical advice and information for both novice and seasoned inventors and entrepreneurs.

This event will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to learn specifically about the value of patents and trademarks, federal and local resources available to help entrepreneurs start or grow a business, strategies to leverage IP assets, and networking opportunities with experts in the IP and the small business growth and development fields. These experts will be from both government and the private sector and will help attendees gain insight into the patent process as well as a chance to meet with the Long Island Inventors group and stay connected in the community.
