USPAACC-SE Chapter Presents First of the Three Capacity Building Workshops conducted by:
Fred McKinney, Ph.D.
Managing Director, Minority Business Program Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth
In the hit Broadway play Hamilton, there is a song, “The Room Where It Happens.” Aaron Burr is upset that he is not in the room where Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton close the deal that puts the Nation’s Capital in Virginia and allows the federal government to assume the Revolutionary War debts of the States. One of the greatest political deals ever.
Minority business owners need to be in the room where it happens, but once they are in that room, you need to close the deal. This half-day session is an interactive exercise of closing deals and establishing strategies to be invited to the room where it happens!
Admission: Free entry for all attendees (seating limited to first 30 Registrants). Enter to win a lunch meeting with John Evans, Vice President, Global Procurement at Ingersoll Rand.
