Event description

Description

IPAL’s USO Christmas Show- Twenty Years Later is an original musical, recreating the typical USO show enjoyed by the American troops. The show features music from the 40s to the 70s. Popular Christmas music along with traditional Christmas music, comedy and skits will highlight the show. The success of the production in 2014 and 2015 led IPAL to do this new production. IPAL’s USO Christmas Show-Twenty Years Later is presented with permission of the USO, but it is noted that proceeds will not benefit USO and does not constitute an endorsement by USO of IPAL or IPAL productions. A table for voluntary donations to IPAL will be available in the lobby

IPAL’s A USO Christmas Show- Twenty Years Later will feature an on-stage combo typical of the era and will showcase the usual IPAL production values. According to director Doc Voorhies, “I remember watching Bob Hope USO Christmas shows on TV. I hope this show gives you as much Christmas Spirit as I got then. We are dedicating this to our Vietnam Veterans who deserve so much respect and honor.”

This production stars Jasim Ali Reza, Jason Bayard, Mike Berry, Avery Camacho, Corey Camille, Trevor Chapman, Audie Comeaux, Connie Comeaux, Lynn Derouen, Bud Forrest, Kipp Gary, Carmen Gonsoulin, Jenny Gonsoulin, Ben Gren, Kate Gulotta, Jacob Judice, Kevin Judice, Mike LaBiche, John Lagneaux, Maggie Landry, Kameron LeBlanc, Perry Ledet, Lanie Marcanatel, Ashlyn Maturin, Virginia Molbert, Kim Monroe, Carmen Nicholson, Wendy Parich, Michael Parich, Sr., Mitch Prudhomme, Ryder Romero, Angie Sanford, Julaine Schexnayder, Erin Segura, Connor Smith, Andy Soileau, Luke Soileau, Faye Tarantino, Hailey Viator, Donald “Doc” Voorhies, Billy Walker, David Wattigny, and the KCKC quartet featuring Carla Lindsey (Lead), Lynda Fontenot (Bass), Karen Bernard (Baritone) and Kate Sutto ( Tenor).
