Using Technology to Improve Employee Engagement
Wed, March 29, 2017, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM BST
29th March 10:00-12:30 (Registration and Coffee from 09:30)
As part of the E4S South East Group, we will be exploring how we can improve employee engagement using different technology platforms. We will be looking at when and how to use them, as well as some case studies demonstrating the results that different organisations have had when using these platforms.
We already have two great speakers lined up:
Jerry Pett is one of the founders of Thymometrics, the world's first always on platform for assessing employee engagement and gaining employee feedback.
Jo Dodds is not only part of E4S where she runs the weekly radio shows, she also runs her own communications business helping organisations improve how they connect with their employees.
We will also spend some time looking more widely at engagement and how people are addressing the need to improve levels of engagement in their organisations.
As with all our workshops, this will be an interactive session with plenty of opportunity to learn and ask questions and also to share best practice amongst the group.
Whether you are just starting your journey on engagement, or you are a seasoned professional, all are welcome!
For security reasons, all attendees will need to pre-register for a ticket. Ticketing closes at 12:00 midday on 28th March.
Any questions about this event, please contact Frazer Rendell via email firstname.lastname@example.org
We are delighted that HMRC in Worthing have provided us with the use of a room for the morning.
When you arrive at the venue you will need to report to the East/West Entrance (The Gatehouse which is situated as you turn into the second entrance off Barrington Lane).
To pass through security when you arrive, please allow up to 15 minutes.
TRAVELLING BY CAR
From London and the North:
The A24 is the main route to Worthing. From the M25 leave at junction 9 from the Leatherhead exit.
From the East & West:
Use the A27 (Folkestone to Honiton Trunk Road).
From the roundabout at the junction of the A24 & A27:
Take the southerly exit signposted 'West Worthing' (Offington Lane) towards the Thomas a Beckett crossroads.
At the traffic lights turn right into Littlehampton Road (A2032), and at the first roundabout turn left into the Boulevard. Continue south past the 2 roundabouts and cross the railway bridge. Take the right hand filter into Barrington Road. As you drive in you should report to the gatehouse.
There is also plenty of parking but we will need to know inadvance. If you are driving, please just confirm your registration number.
TRAVELLING BY TRAIN
There are direct services to Durrington On Sea from London Victoria, Brighton and Portsmouth. Be careful to follow the rail operators guidance, as some trains divide en route. (Durrington On Sea is the second stop after Worthing Central Station). Leave the station by the gate on the south platform, near the footbridge and follow the footpath. The site access gates from the footpath are now controlled by card access, so continue to the end of the footpath and turn right. Make your way to the Gatehouse.
