Overview:
The use of patient-reported outcome measures represent an important aspect of many evidence-based treatments, and have been shown to improve both the quality and effectiveness of care.
This workshop will cover best practices for using patient-reported outcome measures in your practice, including presenting guidelines for how to select the right measures for your practice, information about how to interpret and respond to clinical data, and a review of research on the benefits of using patient-reported outcome measures.
By attending this workshop, you will be ready to:
- Discuss what measurement-based care is and why it is important
- Identify important research findings related to the benefits of using patient-reported outcome measures
- Apply a simple 3-step process for selecting and implementing patient-reported outcome measures in your clinical practice
Additionally, this session will award you with 1 CE hour approved by NBCC.
Speaker's bio:
Russell DuBois, PhD is a Psychologist and Director of Clinical Operations & Customer Success at Blueprint, a mental health screening and assessment platform.
Dr. DuBios holds a combined background of research and clinical practice and has presented his work at national and international conferences. His areas of expertise include acceptance and mindfulness-based approaches to treatment, eating disorder research and intervention, and data science for personalized healthcare. He writes for Psychology Today under the column The Digital Doctor.
