Using Empower Innovation to Source and Develop Pilot Customers

Our speaker, Tom Jensen, Co-Director of Empower Innovation, will show attendees how to source and develop pilot customers for your products and technologies using the Empower Innovation Platform (www.empowerinnovation.net).

Hundreds of Empower Innovation members have taken advantage of the Empower Innovation’s free tools to find and connect with partners and customers.

Tom will walk through three examples, demonstrating how members can use the Platform to filter for and contact other members who are potential pilot customers.

Also, Tom will help attendees with messaging and communication techniques, including using the platform to messsage individual customer contacts.

Tom will also touch on how to use the Platform to source and match with other Empower members for other purposes, such as teaming on grants and finding joint development partners.

Tom Jensen

Tom has 30 has years of experience in entrepreneurial business development

for technology. He has consulted for corporations, startups, federal and state agencies, utilities and national laboratories throughout the U.S. Tom has lectured on innovation and entrepreneurship at the UC Berkeley and Columbia University Business Schools, the College of Engineering at UC Berkeley, and at Stanford University. He has published several books and articles on emerging technology markets, innovation, technology commercialization, entrepreneurship, corporate sustainability and environmental law and management.
