Description
You and/or other admissions colleagues, student recruiters, or alumni representatives are invited to attend the USHLI Student Leadership Summit - Presented by McDonald’s at South Houston High School.
This is the sixth consecutive year that McDonald’s has partnered with USHLI to promote the HACER® Scholarships for Hispanic Students in ten different cities. The summits will feature a motivational student assembly, workshops on financial aid and leadership skills, and a college and career fair. All students will attend the college fair portion of the program; we are expecting 1,000 students at this event. Students will be from all high school grade levels.
Additionally, USHLI is offering recruiters the option to scan student barcodes at every event. To add this feature, you will need to create a StriveScan account and purchase "One Fair Credit" for the designated college fair. The cost is $24 per event. With StriveScan, you will be able to export your scans instantly and students also receive an email with your contact information.

Event Schedule: 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Are there ID requirements to enter the event?
Yes. The school main office will require you to show a state-issued ID.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
You may park in the visitor lot. Details will be shared closer to the day of the event.

No, all registered schools will be on a list. Please be sure to bring business cards to the event.
