About Green Scene - Athens
USGBC Georgia’s Green Scene is back and in-person! USGBC Georgia’s Athens Branch invite you to our monthly gathering for those interested in all things sustainable and green. This is a laid-back, after-work opportunity to meet other sustainability professionals just like yourself. Bring a friend and enjoy a drink with other local design professionals.
This is a community and networking event for all, especially those interested in sustainable business, environmental and social causes, green architecture and design, education, construction, clean energy and more.
Join us and help support USGBC’s mission of green, healthy communities for all. Events typically held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6 pm, free entry, open to all.
About USGBC Athens Branch
The Athens Branch of USGBC Georgia was formed as a natural outgrowth of the Emerging Green Builders (now Emerging Professionals) Committee that formerly resided at the University of Georgia. A diverse group of people interested in learning more about green building and sustainable design, all members of the Athens community are welcome to join our local Green Scene and attend our meetings and training seminars or other branch events.
