Join USGBC Colorado's first Southern Branch event in 2017 with a focus on the LEED Performance Score, a new pathway of green building certification from LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design). The LEED PErformance Score supports certification towards LEED O+M and allows buildings to improve their building's performance on an ongoing basis, using real-time and/or frequently updated feedback and ratings. The Performance Score is truly a cut above the green building standard, and we're proud to be a pioneer in its adoption and use. We will share what the Performance Score is and how it is helping to revolutionize the LEED program and it's future uses in buildings all over the world.
- Explore the initial rollout of the LEED Performance Score and how it has adapted to industry needs and learn the features of the Arc platform.
- Discuss prescriptive versus performance based programs for LEED EBOM projects and understand how to enter data for a LEED Performance Score
- Learn from a real world example of what it took to apply for the LEED Performance score via challenges and successes.
- Discuss lessons learned from implementing the platform with a real work example
This event is worth 1 GBCI continuing education hour.
