USGBC Carolinas presents: 2023 Green Gala Community Leadership Awards

Celebrate with our USGBC Carolinas Community!

For 13 years, the USGBC Green Gala Leadership Awards Event has been honoring the impact made by people, organizations and LEED projects connected to North and South Carolina. Each year, we bring together the most committed and influential individuals and organizations in our region for an evening of networking and celebration of achievement within the community. Bring your friends to we celebrate the innovative projects and inspiring Leaders and their organizations enabling an environmentally and socially responsible built environment that improves the quality of life for all.

We are looking forward to inviting everyone back in person at The Terrace at Cedar Hill in Charlotte on Thursday, October 26. A VIP Event starts at 5 pm and we all gather together from 5:30 -9 pm. It is a beautiful indoor/outdoor venue with great food.

Join building industry leaders and sustainability advocates from across North and South Carolina as we recognize and honor the winners of our 2023 Community Leadership Awards.

This event promises to be an evening to remember. It will include an awards ceremony, during which the winners will be announced, as well as a networking reception with drinks and nourishment . As in the past, guests will vote to decide which project takes home our People's Choice Award.

Your participation supports USGBC's local education, advocacy and volunteer efforts, helping to bring better buildings and better lives to all in our region. Reconnect with old friends and colleagues, grow your network of sustainably-minded professionals, and celebrate the accomplishments of the Carolinas green building community!

In-person Health and Safety Statement

The safety and well-being of our community is our top priority. USGBC continues to monitor policy and procedures and is working actively to remain in compliance with federal, state, and local agencies to implement best practices aimed at managing the spread of COVID-19.

To protect the health and peace of mind of our attendees, USGBC has implemented the following preventive measures:

• All in-person attendees of USGBC in-person events must be vaccinated in advance to participate. Full vaccination is defined as having received two shots of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID vaccine or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson product (or a comparably approved vaccine for international attendees) and must be dated at least 14 days in advance of the event.
• Facial mask wearing is required for all indoor activities and encouraged for outdoor activities except when actively eating or drinking.
• Attendees are asked to observe social distancing protocols and respect other’s personal space
• All attendees are required to review and agree to USGBC’s Event Attendee Release & Liability Waiver (included in the registration)
