USGBC Arizona Heavy Medals Awards Luncheon 2017
Wed, April 19, 2017, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM MST
On April 19, 2017, USGBC Arizona will hold its fifth annual Heavy Medals Awards Luncheon at the Salt River Project PERA Club from 11:00am to 2:00pm. The purpose of this Awards Luncheon is to acknowledge building owners and their supporting teams for their extra effort to accomplish LEED® certification for their buildings. This in turn enables an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy and prosperous environment that improves quality of life for not only the building’s inhabitants, but also for the community.
This year's program features Mark Hartman, Chief Sustainability Officer at the City of Phoenix as our keynote speaker, as well as a presentation of the Arizona Leader Awards. These Awards are being incorporated into the annual Heavy Medals Awards Luncheon to better recognize and elevate buildings in the state that are raising the bar for sustainable design.
Please join us for this important celebration that supports the work of USGBC Arizona as we strive for green buildings for everyone within this generation!
