If you would like to learn how geospatial technology is used for tracking traffickers, here's just the seminar for you.

About this Event

After having worked at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), Dr. Odean Serrano will conduct a seminar titled “Use of GIS in Countering Wildlife Trafficking” at 9 am on Wednesday, Sept 25th, 2019. Dr. Vasit Sagan, a professor with the Department of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences at Saint Louis University (SLU), will join her as part of the presentation.

The seminar is co-sponsored by Saint Louis University, GeoSLU, and GatewayGIS at COLLAB, the joint innovation center of Saint Louis University and Washington University, located on the third floor of Cortex above Innovation Hall, 4220 Duncan Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110.
