We're so excited to announce the 3rd Annual USC Alumni & Community Toy Drive!
We've made a name for ourselves the past few years as one of the fastest growing toy drives in Los Angeles! With your help, we collectively donated over 5,000 toys to children in need. Let's continue the tradition of giving back this year and create even more smiles this holiday season!
We're exceptionally excited to announce our new partnership with
Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
CHLA distributes over 18,000 toys every year and serves patients from infants to 21 years of age. Every week, each child receives a new toy for the duration of their stay at the hospital which averages from a few months to a few years. Toys come in handy before a little one has surgery or an invasive procedure. CHLA relies on holiday donations to last them all year long and right now, the shelves are almost empty! Be a part of something that will fill those toy shelves and supply sick kids with a little extra hope and a reason to smile...ALL YEAR LONG!
How can you donate? There are several ways!
1. We are hosting a community toy drive event on Saturday, January 7th, 2017. With a purchase of a ticket, you will be donating the purchase of toy! As a thank you, we invite you to enjoy yourselves at the event where there will be various community vendors, delicious food, drinks, desserts, music, entertainment, hands on activities, door prizes, lots of networking, and much much more! Generous donors who give above and beyond will receive a special recognition at the event!
2. Can't make it Saturday but want to donate funds? No problem! You can donate any amount by selecting "Donation" and funds will be used to buy toys for children of CHLA!
3. Another great way to help out is by purchasing toys yourself and/or collecting donations from other generous givers! If you are attending the event, bring the donations with you so they can be showcased! Can't come to the event? Contact Christie, Judy, or Wendy to arrange a "pick up" of the donations so we can showcase the donations at the charity event!
Please pass this along to any USC Alumni or active community members!
