Topic: “2016: A Year for the Record Books. So Where To From Here?”
Dr. Helen Currie is the Senior Economist for ConocoPhillips Corporation. With over 25 years’ experience in business, government and academia, she brings unique perspectives to strategic planning at ConocoPhillips. Her current responsibilities involve long range planning and strategy development, investment analyses, political risk and scenario planning. Previous roles at ConocoPhillips include upstream and downstream business analysis, commercial risk management for all liquids, natural gas and power marketing, as well as risk systems project management.
From 2007-2010, Dr. Currie was with BG Group, leading the Americas Market Fundamentals research team to shape strategic planning, business development and trading strategies.
Prior to joining Conoco in 2001, Dr. Currie was on faculty at Elon University and LaGrange College for M.B.A. and undergraduate finance and economics programs. Her academic research focused on mortgage backed securities valuation and financial institutions management. She previously worked as an economic analyst with the State of Washington’s Department of Ecology.

The Chapter has a 48-hour cancellation policy. Registration closes 48 hours prior to the meeting to ensure your name is on the attendee list for the Federal Reserve’s security officers and to order the appropriate number of lunches. All walk-ups will be assessed a $10 surcharge and are subject to space availability.
LOCATION: The meeting will take place at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch. Doors open at 11:30am for networking. Lunch will be served at 12:00pm. If you have any dietary requirements, please be sure to list them when registering. The presentation will be followed by a brief Q&A session.
