Usability testing of library search engine
New Britain, CT
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
We are seeking 10 CCSU students to conduct a 15-20 minute usability test of our new library search engine at the Elihu Burritt Library. The first 10 participants who complete the test of our search engine will receive $10 BlueChip gift cards. The "test" is actually a test of how easy our web resources are to use and how our new search engine performs for students.
We're using EventBrite's "ticket" option to reserve your preferred time for usability testing (& to ensure that we've got the correct demographic information about you beforehand, which will reduce the amount of time it takes to go through the test). You don't need to have your printed out "ticket" on-hand to participate in the test. Please choose 1 (your preferred) time for the usability test, so that other students have an opportunity to take the test, as well. We can only conduct 1 test per student.
At your designated date/time, please come to the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor, right as you enter the library & let them know your name and that you're there to take the usability test. Thank you!
