Event description

Description

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) was signed into law on December 22, 2017, not only reducing the U.S. corporate tax rate by 14 points to 21 percent, but implementing a number of significant changes to the way the United States taxes multi-national businesses with operations or investments in Ireland and Irish companies with operations in the United States.

The TCJA, which is far-reaching and significantly changes how the United States taxes domestic businesses and multi-national businesses, is the most substantial revamp of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code since 1986.

Join us for this informative one-hour panel discussion, which will be followed a by wine reception, on Wednesday 4 September, at the Stephens Green Club, Dublin 2. Doors open at 1730 for a 1800 start. Business Dress Code (jacket and tie) required.

CPD Certification will be available to lawyers, accountants and tax professionals in attendance.

This is a private event, attendance at which will be subject to confirmation by the organizers.
