Join us for a free and public debate for U.S. Senate Debate with Maria Cantwell (D) and Susan Hutchison (R). The U.S. Senate seat is one of two representing Washington state for a term of six years. The debate will be moderated by Mark Baumgarten (KCTS 9/Crosscut), Jim Camden (Spokesman Review), Jane McCarthy (KREM), and Hayley Guenthner (KHQ).

What time should I arrive for the debate? Doors for the debate open at 2 p.m. and promptly close at 2:50 p.m. Please note, seating is first-come-first-serve.
What can I bring to the debate? Literature and signage, including campaign/political apparel, is not allowed inside the debate venue.
Do I need to print out a ticket? No. Guests will be checked-in at the entrance to the auditorium.
Can I watch the debate somewhere else? Broadcast live at 3 p.m. PST on KSKN and KONG TV. Delayed broadcast on KING 5, KCTS 9, KOMO and TVW. Livestreamed on many Coalition partner websites including KIRO 7.

The Washington State Debate Coalition was founded by Seattle CityClub in 2016 to enhance Washingtonians’ access to those who hold and seek our state’s highest elected offices.
