US Olympians Walk to London 2012

CELEBRATE THE OLYMPIC SPIRIT IN ALL OF US! Walk with Olympians from the San Francisco Bay Area, see Olympic Sport Demonstrations and send messages to our 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Teams in London.
Join the Northern California Olympians (NCO),
the Bay Area Sports Organizing Committee (BASOC),
and the San Jose Sports Authority groups at Crissy Field in San Francisco on Saturday, April 21st at 10 AM.
Activities will include a 2- mile walk on Crissy Field.

Gymnastics - a preview for the US Gymnastics Trials to be held in San Jose at HP Pavilion

Your steps count toward our national goal as we “Walk to London 2012”.
All activities are FREE to all, the first 350 to register receive a commemorative Walk to London 2012 Tee shirt.
CRISSY FIELD INFORMATION- The Walk to London 2012 will be located in the Historic Airfield Section B across the street from Stillwell Hall on Mason Street. Parking is located at the West Bluff Picnic Area & the Warming Hut- off Old Mason Street at the dead end of road. Parking is available on a first served basis. See map link here:

Each Community walk will record their miles on the web site www.walktolondon2012.org , measuring their collective progress on the Walk to London 2012.
This National Program, “Walk to London 2012 “began in Los Angeles on April 7 and continues each weekend in communities across the United States where Olympic Alumni Chapters are located. Walk to London 2012 will end in Washington D.C. on June 23, which is International Olympic Day.
Additional activities will include the signing of an Olympic flag, messages to the US 2012 Olympic team from each community, recognizing U.S. Olympic Cities, memorabilia displays, Olympic trivia contests, autograph signing sessions and Olympic sport exhibitions.

7. Saturday, May 12 – Colorado, Indiana
8. Sunday, May 20 – Missouri, Illinois
9. Wednesday, May 23 - Idaho
10. Saturday, May 26 – Milwaukee
11. Sunday, May 27 – Midwest, Michigan
12. Saturday, June 2 – Tampa, Florida
13. Sunday, June 3 – Florida,
14. Sunday, June 10 – Alabama, Tri-State
15. Saturday, June 16 – Chicago
16. Sunday, June 17 – New England, Ohio
17.Saturday, June 23 – Washington, DC , Georgia
