Event description

Description

On January 21, 2017, Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States of America. For the past two years, the United States and Sweden have grown closer economically and militarily. At the same time, the current U.S. Administration has re-focused some of their priorities, which has generated both questions and concerns.

AmCham Sweden and United Spaces invite you to hear from Daniel Kochis, a Policy Analyst in European Affairs in the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, on how
the foreign policy of the Trump Administration impacts the world and what it could mean for Sweden in the year ahead.

Kochis specializes in transatlantic security issues, U.S. policy in Europe, NATO, U.S.-Russia relations, and Arctic issues. He is also a regional author for the Heritage Foundation's annual Index of U.S. Military Strength.
