US Ethical Gem Fair Tucson (February 2020)
The Destination for Responsibly Sourced Gemstones from around the World
A collaborative partnership of leading responsibly sourced gemstone suppliers Stuart Pool (Nineteen48), Ian Bone (Capricorn Gems), Monica Stephenson (ANZA Gems), Jay Moncada and Jared Amadeo Holstein (Perpetuum Jewels), Brian Cook (Nature's Geometry), Hewan Zewdi (Agere Treasures) and Eric Braunwart (Columbia Gem House) will gather in Tucson from the 3rd to the 6th of February, 2020.
This inaugural US Ethical Gemstone Fair will see gemstones available from gem suppliers with a commitment to ethics in the gemstone supply chain, including supporting artisanal miners and communities, verifiable origins and traceability, commitment to environmental and health and safety regulations, and SCS-certified recycled diamonds and gemstones.
The gemstones available will include a wide range of Diamond, Sapphire, Ruby, Opal, Emerald, Chrysoprase, Garnet, Tanzanite, Tourmaline, Spinel, Zircon, Aquamarine, Topaz, Morganite and Bahia Golden Rutilated Quartz and others from around the world. These gems come from sources in Sri Lanka, Australia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Brazil, Ethiopia, and the USA, some with verifiable provenance to the country of export, country of origin, and even to the mine or miner.
Jewelry designers attending Tucson will be able to view and purchase gemstones and diamonds with the assurance of responsible sourcing and practices. Suppliers can provide specific details about the source of each gemstone to every customer.
Entry to the Historic Masonic Temple is from 33 E Ochoa Street and is easily accessible with a 5-minute walk from the Tucson Convention Centre.
