Event description

Description

Based on your feedback from the Employee Viewpoint Survey, R9’s Kids’ Day is back! This summer Region 9 will host a day for EPA employees to bring a child in their life to share the work we do in the Pacific Southwest and expose the kids to a variety of career paths in environmental science.

The event can accommodate 50 children ages 7-13, and spots will fill fast!

Kids attending the event will visit demonstration booths where they can explore, interact, and partake in activities that will educate about the work we do and provide an introduction into the world of environmental science.

Please get permission from your supervisor to participate in Kids’ Day activities. You can read the ‘Children in the Workplace’ policy here.

If you have any questions, please contact any member of the Kids Day Planning Team: Sebastian Beshk (2-3415), Eric Canteenwala (2-3932), or Angela Mendiola (2-3284).

If you need a reasonable accommodation, please contact Philip Kum at (415) 947-3566.
