Public Information Session with U.S. College staff and EducationUSA

EducationUSA would like to thank Scotch College for hosting this public information session that will start at 6pm.

This session is open to all students and their family, school staff, including career practitioners, director of sports, school coaches and any other school staff that support students who aspire to attend a U.S. college.

This free public event is a great opportunity to listen and learn from the informational sessions that will hosted during the program. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions to decision makers in U.S. international admission offices. So even if you may not attend the U.S. colleges that will be represented the information and knowledge you learn on the evening will be transferable as you have aspirations to apply to any U.S. college.

University of Delaware: Also a division I NCAA program and from its roots as a private academy in 1743, the institution today is a research-intensive, technological advance university with a global impact. In attendance will be their Director of International Admissions.

Indiana University: Indiana University founded in 1820 is a NCAA Division I program and a Big 10 powerhouse in athletics and their top ranked Jacobs School of music and fine arts, theatre and entertainment offerings rival lager cities. In attendance will be both there Assistant Director of NCAA Athletic Compliance and Assistant Director of International Admissions

University of Vermont: Since 1791, the University of Vermont has worked to move humankind forward. Today, UVM is a Public Ivy and top 100 research university of a perfect size, NCAA division I and large enough to offer a breadth of ideas , resources, and opportunities, yet small enough to enable close faculty-student mentorship across all levels of study, from bachelor’s to M.D. programs. Here, students’ educational experience and activities are enriched by our location. In attendance will be thier assistant director of international admissions.

New participant announced - AMDA: Celebrating more than 50 years as one of America's premier conservatories for the performing arts, AMDA is recognized throughout the industry for its rich history and tradition of launching some of the most successful careers in theatre, film and television. AMDA is now a thriving, fully accredited institution, offering Professional Conservatory (New York and Los Angeles) and Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees (Los Angeles) in Acting, Dance Theatre, Music Theatre and Performing Arts. Each year, more than 1,400 students engage in AMDA's rigorous curricula, each young artist training under the guidance of our faculty of professional artists and instructors at the leading edge of their respective fields. In attendance will be their director of International Outreach.

8:15pm: Wrap and close

Parking may be accessed via carparks on Morrison Street or both sides of the street.
