URI Brain Fair

In light of the developing COVID-19 situation, all Brain Week RI events, including the URI Brain Fair, have been canceled to help ensure the health and safety of participants, volunteers, and attendees, and to keep these events inclusive of those in our communities who are at higher risk.

We genuinely appreciate the time and efforts of everyone involved in planning this year's event, and will look forward to returning next year. Most of all, we thank all of our community members and attendees who support the URI Brain Fair every year and are among our most important advocates for brain science and brain health.

Our annual Brain Fair is a fun-for-all-ages event! Come be entertained, inspired, and enlightened as you learn about your amazing brain through hands-on activities and interactive demos. Every year we add new features and welcome back popular favorites, including robots from the A.I. Lab, virtual reality and smart technology demos, brainy crafts, science talks, and a mid-day Brain Circus.

Featuring URI faculty and student researchers from the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program and the George & Anne Ryan Institute for Neuroscience, plus special guests, live music, face painting, giveaways, and more.
