Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

For democracy to thrive, citizens who hold different views must talk to one another—a major challenge in today’s polarized political environment. This new series sheds light on why Americans see key issues facing the nation so differently, and explores how, despite our differences, we can find common ground through conversation. We begin with race and class, as Bob Herbert, noted journalist and former New York Times columnist, moderates the first dialogue in the series.
