Walk the neighborhood and tour homes for sale/rent, see expamples of some of the finest historic homes and fences in the Dayton area.

Urban Gardening – What Should I Plant? - Huffman gardeners and arborist, Mark Caldwell, share proven tips for growing vegetables,trees, and flowers in the city. Visit several Huffman Historic Area vegetable and flower gardens, including a fun chalk wall for children.
Keep the Creative Juices Flowing – Fifth Street Brew Pub End your tour at one of Dayton’s premier brew pubs in St. Anne’s Hill Historic District, just a few blocks from Huffman. The pub,which was spotlighted on National Public Radio, was renovated and is owned and operated by co-op shareholders. Overview of the project’s history and C,O,D, social hour at 5 p.m. 1600 E. Fifth Street.
What are my parking options for the event?
Street parking is available on Huffman Ave. across from St. Paul's Church, the starting point and check in location. Additional street parking is available throughout the neighborhood. Parking lots are located behind Chase Bank at the corner of 3rd and Linden, adjacent to the garden just off 3rd and Linden, at Linden Avenue Baptist Church - corner of 4th and Linden, and adjacent to Gordon's Jewelry at Terry and 3rd St.
Where do I check in for the event?
Check-in is at St. Paul's Church, located at 101 Huffman Ave, on the corner of Huffman Ave. and E. 4th St. Enter through the side door facing Fourth St. There you will receive a map and schedule for the event.
Are there age restrictions for the event?
There are no age restrictions for the event, however keep in mind that if you are attending the seminars, children will likely not be interested and may become restless.
Will there be any homes open for the event?
Any homes for sale or rent are requested to be open the day of the event. Several Huffman residents will open their gardens to event attendees. All open homes and gardens will be marked on the map you will receive at check in.
