Description

The 2019 Forever Green Luncheon will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2019, again at the Embassy Suites on Verdae Boulevard in Greenville, and we are reaching out today to ask for your support. The event celebrating individuals and organizations for their significant contributions in the fields of land conservation, sustainable development, water quality, air quality, public service and volunteer work will take place on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Embassy Suites in Greenville on Verdae. This year’s Conservation Champions to be honored are:

The Marjorie E. Schmidt Stewardship Award: Dick Carr

The Tommy Wyche Land Conservation Champion: Doug Harper

Clean Water Champion: Nikki Grumbine

Public Servant of the Year: Phil Gaines

Land Planning & Policy Champion: Spartanburg Northside Initiative

Extraordinary Achievement Award: Dennis Chastain

This year, we are pleased to have Mr. Paul Hilton, Partner, Portfolio Manager, and Research Analyst at Trillium Asset Management as our keynote speaker. Trillium is the oldest investment firm exclusively focused on sustainable and responsible investing. Founded in 1982, Trillium was established to provide a space for clients to invest their money in alignment with their values, and has become one of the largest SRI investment firms in the United States. Paul started his career as an Analyst with the Council on Economic Priorities, a non-profit known for the influential consumer guidebook “Shopping for a Better World.”
