Join us for a showing of Uprooting Addiction, a documentary film and discussion exploring the connection between child trauma and addiction.

About this event

This community event will be held at the Memorial Building on Thursday June 24th from 5pm to 8pm with FREE DINNER INCLUDED.

Dr. Stephen Loyd, Cedar Recovery will discuss adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and the risks and vulnerability for addiction, followed by Q&A and panel discussion. Information and connections to local resources will be shared as well.

This event is hosted by Maury County Prevention Coalition with support from The Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and local prevention partnerships.
