Join the Urban Philly Professional Network (UPPN) as we introduce another installment of our After Work Networking Mixer. UPPN After Work Mixers are recognized as the best in class events for upwardly mobile, and accomplished urban professionals in Philadelphia. This special event will be held at Fire & Ice Lounge & Bar. This beautiful venue is the perfect environment for our UPPN After Work Mixer to kick-off this spring season. This event will feature drink specials, food specials and music.

The UPPN After Work Mixers provides an excellent opportunity to start building social and professional relationships. You could meet your next client, customer, business partner, employer or simply meet a new friend. You will interact with academics, attorneys, accountants, bankers, consultants, doctors, entrepreneurs, human resource specialists, politicos and more. Admission is COMPLIMENTARY with an RSVP.

This month we will feature THREE dynamic African American leaders as our Honorary Connectors:

Julie Coker (President & CEO of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, PHLCVB)
Terri Matthews (Founder and CEO of Jaden's Voice)
Mark Edwards (President & CEO of Philadelphia Works).

Be sure to meet our UPPN Connectors, with name tags, who can connect you with people who share compatible business or professional interests.   We look forward to reconnecting, enjoying quality conversations, people and music.

Would you be so kind to please bring boxed or canned food items to donate to the Coalition Against Hunger? The spring and summer months in particular are months of low food supply for the city's food pantries since most people contribute during the winter season.

Founded in 1996, the Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger strives to build a community where all people have the food they need to lead healthy lives. The Coalition connects people with food assistance programs and nutrition education; provides resources to a network of food pantries; and educates the public and policymakers about responsible solutions that prevent people from going hungry.
