Event description

Description

About the Clinic:

This clinic is designed to improve overhead mobility (overhead presses, snatches, etc.) using Functional Range Conditioning practices and soft tissue therapies utilizing the MOBI Performance Tool. Athletes will be led through a variety of drills targeting common problem areas for CrossFit, Olympic Weightlifting, and other similar athletes.

From wrists to elbows, and shoulders to spine, this clinic will help expose limitations and teach ways to improve overhead positions. Attendees will come away with new mobility drills to add to their routines that will improve their ability to move through wider ranges of motion under tension and improve muscle recovery.

Participants will also receive a 20% discount on the MOBI Performance Tool and can purchase on-site following the clinic.

This clinic is two hours long of almost non-stop drills and work. Please contact eric@trainoutpainperformance.com with any questions.

About the Coach:

Tom Sullivan is a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist who also holds his Crossfit Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching Certificate along with his USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coaching certification. Tom has been coaching CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting since 2012. For years he has spent an increasing amount of time working on movement imbalances and mobility restrictions in athletes. Through Functional Range Conditioning and other methods, Tom has moved athletes through stages of developing the mobility necessary for execution of CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting movements. His views on mobility span far wider than lacrosse balls, foam rollers, and stretching. Tom's goal is to fix mobility problems and movement patterns of athletes for the rest of their lives, not just one workout at a time.
