UPMC Health Plan PedalPGH is the region’s largest bicycle ride (notice we didn’t say “race.”) It’s a casual, fun ride that exposes people of all ages and fitness levels to the neighborhoods, parks, bridges, and geography that make Pittsburgh so unique. Since 1994, PedalPGH showcases Pittsburgh as a fun, bicycle-friendly city, and encourages people to get out and get healthy. The event brings together athletes, families, community leaders, outdoor enthusiasts, and advocates for bicycle transportation.
As a fundraiser, PedalPGH enables BikePGH to continue to transform our streets and communities into vibrant, healthy places by making them safe and accessible for everyone to bike and walk.
Choose one of three great rides around Pittsburgh from:
The beginner friendly
The intermediate 25 mile
The 62 mile
Riders will have fully marked courses that show off some of the City’s best bicycle friendly roads, scenic views and of course bike lanes. Full service rest stops along each of the routes will provide riders with amazing snacks and hydration. Wrapping up your ride, don’t forget to pick up your commemorative PedalPGH T-Shirt & limited eddition water bottle and enjoy music and great food from one of Pittsburgh’s Mobile Food Trucks.
