In Remembrance of the assasination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., this Tour on the history of Civil Rights is FREE for Museum Members!

From the Underground Railroad to the Fight against school segregation. From Housing Discrimination to Police Brutality

African Americans in Detroit and throughout America have fought against economic inequality, against political disenfranchisement, and for self-determination. They have done so using boycotts and marches, as well as using fists and guns.

Join Black Scroll Network and ASALH Detroit historian Jamon Jordan as he discusses the people, places and events that have helped to mold a community of freedom fighting from the 1700s to the present.

This tour is FREE of charge to Museum Members. However, if you're not already a member, you must pay admission to the museum or obtain a museum membership to join this tour. The tour price is $15, not including admission tothe museum.

Be ready to show proof of membership to attend this tour for FREE.
