Event description

Description

When most people think of magic, the first thing that comes to mind are magic tricks. Whether those are card tricks, levitation or tons of other kinds of tricks, they always manage to thrill the person experiencing it. Unfortunately, we all know that magic tricks, while seemingly magical, are coordinated acts planned by ordinary humans. Yet, there is another kind of magic that could be real: miracles.

In life, we all may have experienced miracles of one kind or another, events that feel too improbable to occur, but end up happening anyway. And miracles lead to one more thing: hope. Hope that our actions don’t have a ceiling. Hope that we can be even more than our present state of life. But are miracles real? If they’re not real, are they worth believing in? Share your magical experiences and beliefs at our first meeting in Toastmasters this semester!
