UofL Student Travel: On-Line Learning Safety & Security While Abroad
Tue, May 30, 2017, 12:00 AM – 11:59 PM MDT
University of Lethbridge students traveling abroad in conjunction to University sponsorship- activities funded and supported by the UofL or involve academic work for credit, are required to attend a pre-departure orientation or complete the on-line learning modules prior to departure.
The on-line learning educates the University traveler through three courses developed by International SOS, the University's partner for travel advice and assistance abroad.
It is recommended that country specific reports pertaining to your travel be reviewed at the Government of Canada travel abroad pages: http://travel.gc.ca/travelling/advisories and also through SOS International.
On-line learners should:
1. Provide their University contact copies of the course completion certifictes and travel waiver,
2. Register travel with the University Student Safety Abroad platform at the following link:https://www.uleth.ca/campus-safety/forms/student-safety-abroad-registry
3. Download the SOS International app in relation to the SOS International program. Information on how to do this will be sent by the organizer to the student upon registration with on-line learning.
Online learning is open from January 9, 2017 through to May 30, 2017
