Why are parents from every state opting their children out of the updated state assessments?
Why are families concerned about privacy?
Why are an increasing number of children unhappy at school?

When & Where
Citizens for Quality Education, San Diego
Citizens for Quality Education ("CQE") is a non-partisan group of civic-minded individuals who noticed a disturbing trend towards a fundamental change in how American children will be educated. CQE also realized that this change would result in an erosion of the privacy of our children and families which many perceive as outright illegal and more upsetting than the recently revealed NSA spying on Americans. CQE consists of a growing number of parents who are concerned about the privacy of their children and have an interest in how their children are educated and what they are taught.
CQE began by asking some very simple questions of their local school board and administration which were met with resistance and in some cases, outright refusal to answer. CQE soon began to realize the true lack of accountability which exists with regard to the education of our children. CQE strives to inform parents about theses educational changes, to encourage them to learn about how these changes will effect their childrens' lives, and what their rights are as parents.
